We offer a wide assortment of newly manufactured and antique black-powder weapons and accessories. We both have more than twenty years experience in this field. Featured in this website are the types of weapons we sell as well as our current prices. Unfortunately, we do not have everything in stock but you can visit or phone our shop in Stockholm, We are currently open only two afternoons a week, Monday and Thursday between 1600 and 2000..

We regularly import replica and antique weapons from all over Europe and the United States.

Svartkrutskällaren (Black Powder Cellar) was founded in 1991, originally located in a basement shop on Folkungegatan on Stockholm's south island, which explains our name. Today our shop is at street level, a few meters from where we were originally located. Kenneth Johansson operates the firm together with Anders Johansson who is a fine gunsmith specializing in muzzle-loading weapons.

We have a genuine interest in weapons and regularly visit weapon trade shows in Europe. We display some of our weapons twice a year at the Stockholm Militaria Mässa. We also shoot actively in numerous competitions both in Scandinavia and overseas.

We are especially interested in different types of muzzle-loading rifles, revolvers and pistols. We will gladly consult with you and evaluate your weapon if you bring it to our shop.
